AR-02: Adams Endorses Wills

20 May

BHR fave John Adams, who finished fourth in the pack of five candidates seeking to replace retiring Vic Snyder, has announced his endorsement of Robbie Wills in his run-off bid against Joyce Elliott.

“Today I am announcing my endorsement of Robbie Wills in the June 8th runoff for the Democratic Party’s nomination to represent the Second Congressional District of Arkansas.  Campaigning against both Speaker Wills and Senator Elliott in the primary gave me a front-row seat to observe their strengths as candidates, and my priority now is making sure that we elect a Democrat to succeed Congressman Snyder.  Ultimately, I believe Robbie’s record as Speaker and his message of creating jobs and fighting for the needs of hardworking families of Central Arkansas will resonate with voters in the 2nd district.  Robbie’s strength outside of Pulaski County and appeal to independent voters will make him the stronger candidate to beat Tim Griffin in November.” — John Adams

Adams made the best decision for the 2nd District by endorsing Wills, he has the best organization in place to defeat Griffin. Joyce is too liberal to win.
